Lexi
10 yr old female Shiba, $75 adoption fee
Poor little Lexi is in rescue looking for a forever home once again. COSIR adopted her to a wonderful young woman 4 years ago who sadly, passed away after a battle with cancer recently. Lexi is a sweet girl, and is very friendly when meeting new people and dogs. She has not lived with kids that we know of, but seems to do well when greeted by kids in the neighborhood. She is good with dogs, but it is unknown how she does with cats. She loves her walks, and will need an active family that can help her loose the weight that she gained while her mom was sick and unable to give her the exercise she needs. She is house trained and is well behaved. She is not crate trained and would prefer a home where crating is not necessary. She would love to sleep in bed with her person. She is in good health, but has a history of kidney stones, so must be fed a prescription urinary health diet only. She is pretty food obsessed and has a history of obesity. Her previous owner did a fantastic job of getting her down to a healthy weight before she became ill. Lexi needs a family committed to not giving her table scraps, daily walks, and keeping her at a healthy weight. Lexi has a bit of separation anxiety, so would also prefer a home where people are home more than average.
Lexi’s adoption fee is $75 and includes her spay, vaccinations, heartworm test & prevention starter pack, microchip, & initial supply of RX food.
