1 yr old male Shiba Inu

Samurai (aka “Sami”) was relinquished to a local shelter by his family for reasons that are unclear. We suspect this adorable boy hasn’t had the guidance or attention that an immature Shiba needs. He is a sweet friendly Shiba, who just wants to be with people who love and understand the Shibaness. He has learned some bad behaviors, and not enough manners, so will need lots of work on training. He is very mouthy and lacks some impulse control, but he’s a smart boy and will do well in a positive, and stimulating environment. Right now he needs a home with no toddlers while he is learning and maturing.

Samurai has been placed in one of our experienced foster homes, and they are already bonding and making great progress with training. He is benefiting from having an older Shiba sister in the home. They plan to adopt him after completing a trial period, so we are not taking applications for him at this time.
