Elvis
1 y/o fearful male, no small children, needs a fenced-in yard & another dog in the home, $350 adoption fee
Elvis is a sweet, energetic boy who came to rescue from a puppy mill, so he is very shy and nervous. He will need time and patience as he learns to trust people and feel comfortable inside of a home. He needs another well-socialized dog in the home to help him learn to be a pet and build his confidence. He is fine with cats, but has not yet been exposed to children. However, small children would likely be too intense for him. A quieter home with a consistent routine would be best.
Elvis is most comfortable outside and will need a family that spends a lot of time hanging out in their backyard, as this will help him to acclimate and bond with humans. He is good on leash, and really enjoys his walks. He is becoming more confident on his walks, but would do best in a quieter neighborhood, as he is spooked very easily. He is quite anxious inside the house and will need an accommodating and understanding family as he slowly adapts to indoor living. He is only comfortable indoors in his crate, and will need one in the home so he always has a safe place where he can eat, sleep, and relax.
Elvis’ adoption fee is $350 and include his neuter, vaccinations, de-worming, heart worm test, microchip and an approved professional training course.
**Please note, Elvis is not eligible for out-of-state adoption**
