Arie

6 yr old female Shiba

Arie is in rescue because she was not getting along with the new puppy in her home. Arie is about the sweetest thing you’ve ever met and is a pretty mellow girl.  She is good with most dogs, but is a Shiba, so doesn’t like “in your face” dogs and would rather skip the dog park.  She gets along great with, and really likes cats.  She doesn’t seem to like kids very much, but is very friendly with new people and warms up quickly.  She is house trained, but does not like being crated.  She is a well behaved girl, and knows basic commands.  She really enjoys her walks and car rides.  She suffers from environmental allergies in the fall, and needs an antihistamine, eye drops, and anti-itch medication when they flare up.  She is not spayed, so we have her scheduled for surgery next week.

Arie has been placed in a “foster to adopt” home carefully selected from our adoption waitlist.  She is adjusting very well, and will officially be adopted once she is fully recovered from her spay and acclimated to her new home.
