Colorado Shiba Inu Rescue is hosting an “Ask an Expert” Shiba 101 event. This event is designed for people waiting to learn more about the breed and interact with some Shibas. It is also for people who currently have a Shiba, but may need advice about training and behavior, or general questions about the health and well being of their Shiba. All dog friendly, leashed Shibas are welcome!

Notoriously one of the most difficult, and most commonly re-homed breeds, Shiba’s are truly not for everyone. Our goal is to educate people about the breed, give them an opportunity to interact with Shibas, and talk with our experts before committing to getting a Shiba. Our on-site experts will include: Managing Director/Trainer – Mary Hall, President – Barb Hurtt. COSIR volunteers/fosters, and COSIR alumni.
