Autumn

AUTUMN HAS BEEN ADOPTED! At 5 yrs old, Autumn lost the only family she’s ever known. They were moving and couldn’t take her with them. Fortunately, a family friend convinced them to surrender her to us instead of dumping her at a shelter.

Gloria and Al have been supporters of the rescue from the very beginning. They’ve adopted, fostered, and donated their time and money to ensure Shibas in need find the right home. So it was no surprise when asked if they would consider fostering Autumn, they were on board. But it wasn’t really up to them. The approval of their Shibas, Kiyoshi and Kikai, would be the deciding factor.

The meet and greet went well, so Autumn had herself a foster home just in the knick of time! Although Gloria and Al were not looking to adopt, we started to suspect a “foster fail” when they reported that Autumn “fits like a glove” in their home…Good work Autumn

This threesome makes for a seriously adorable Shiba pack, and we are thrilled to have brought them together. Congrats to Gloria, Al, Kiyoshi, Kikai, and Autumn!
