5 yr old female Shiba –
The only family Autumn has ever known was moving and not able to bring the dogs with them. We are extremely grateful to a family friend who convinced the owner to surrender her to us, and seek rescue for their other dogs, vs. taking them to their local shelter.
Autumn is a sweet, sassy, but well behaved girl. She gets along with, and generally ignores other dogs. She has not been tested with cats. She has lived successfully with teenaged kids. She is house trained, and likes her crate. She is good on leash and loves her walks.
Autumn is not spayed, and was just starting a heat when we took her in. She has been seen by one of our vets in preparation for her spay. While under for her spay, the vets will also be able to address a swollen nipple and possibly perform a dental, as she is showing signs of mouth pain.
Autumn has been placed in an experienced foster home and is fitting in quite nicely. So well, in fact, that they have already decided to adopt her once recovered from her spay and all of her medical concerns are resolved. Given this, we will not be taking applications for her, but stay tuned for an adoption announcement.
