Baylie

FOSTER FOUND! FOSTER PLANS TO ADOPT: 8 yr old female Shiba, no kids, no female/larger dogs
This beautiful girl is Baylie; a sweet and friendly Shiba who needs a new home. She is a bit aloof, and takes time to warm up to new people, but can be swayed by treats. Baylie is an anxious girl in general, but living in a home with children has made her anxiety worse. She needs a calm, quite home with no kids and not too much going on.
Baylie does not do well with female, or larger dogs. She would enjoy being an only dog and being the center of her human’s attention. She could also live with a male dog, her size or smaller. Baylie is a resource guarder, so should no live with other dogs that also guard. She cannot live with cats.
Baylie is used to having a home with a yard, however she is an escape artist and will bolt out of open doors/gates. She will need a securely fenced yard, and an adopter diligent about supervision and prevention to keep her safe.
Baylie is in good health and wants an active adopter who will take her for at lease one walk every day. She is noise sensitive and doesn’t like too much activity, so she would do best in a rural or quiet suburban area so she doesn’t have to walk on overly populated trails or busy streets. Baylie is house trained, and loves her crate. She is a good girl, she just needs a home where she doesn’t feel anxious all the time.
Baylie has been placed in a foster home carefully selected from our adoption waitlist. Assuming all goes well, the foster plans to adopt her. Stay tuned for an adoption announcement.
