Bear was removed from a reportedly neglectful home. It appears his life up until now has been very chaotic, unstable, and anxiety inducing. He had not been neutered and proper vet care could not be established. Thankfully, he was willingly given to a concerned family friend. She surrendered him to COSIR to ensure he gets the vet care he needs, and the right forever home. Despite all of this turmoil, he is been nothing but a sweet, happy, playful and friendly Shiba since coming into rescue. He must know that he is safe and loved now. He loves people, enjoys meeting other dogs, and wants to play! He is full of energy and ready to live his best life!

Bear has been placed in a foster-to-adopt home carefully selected from our adoption waitlist. They plan to adopt him after a trial period, so we are not accepting applications for him. He has been neutered, received vaccinations, tested for heartworm, and been microchipped.
