Belle

6 yr old female Shiba/German Shepherd mix **FOSTER TO ADOPT**NOT TAKING APPLICATIONS**

This pretty girl is Belle.  She has the face of a Shiba but the body of a German Shepherd, with a half curl of the tail.  Her personality is 100% Shiba and as big as her stature!  She is a sweet girl who loves people and being with her family.  She takes her job as protector very seriously and would be a great guard dog.  She is a real outdoors kinda girl.  She loves hanging out in her yard, going for walks, hikes, and is always up for an adventure.

She needed to be moved to a home with no small children, but is good with older kids.  She is not a fan of small dogs or dogs off leash, but otherwise is fine with them.  She is also good with cats.  She is house trained, and knows basic commands.  She is not crate trained, but is very well behaved when left alone in the house.  She is a bolter, so precautions must be taken before opening doors.

Belle has been placed with a foster who plans to adopt her after a trial period. We know she will love her knew home where her moms are home all day and enjoy spending as much time as possible outside.  She will get to go on regular hiking, fishing, and camping adventures with them.  We are thrilled to have been able to place her in such a great home and can’t wait for the trial to end and finalize her adoption!
