Cinna
Cinna has been adopted! Cinna has never really been comfortable with other dogs in her space, yet she spent her entire life (9 yrs) living with another dog. Over the years, their fights increased in frequency and severity. But it wasn’t until baby came into the picture, that Cinna’s family decided to rehome her. She deserved a home with no kids or dogs to stress her out.
It had been many years since Kelli and Tyler had a dog companion, but they were ready. Kelli grew up with other spitz breeds and cared for her aunt’s Shiba before. She and Tyler lived in Japan form years, so they were familiar with the quirks of the breed and felt the Shiba would be a good fit for them. With no dogs, and no plan for kids, they could offer Cinna exactly what she needed.
Cinna’s not one to warm up to new people easily, but her meet and greet with Kelli and Tyler went very well. She was placed with them same day, as her situation at home had become urgent. The poor girl was so confused; her entire world turn upside down. But once she realized that for the first time in her life she didn’t have another dog around, and there were no more crying babies, she began to relax. It didn’t take long for her to realize how good her new life was. She now enjoys long walks and going on adventures with Kelli and Tyler. And best of all…she loves being an only child, getting all the love and attention! Congrats to Kelli, Tyler, and Cinna.
