Daisy (now Leia)
4 year old female Shiba, no small children
Daisy is a sweet little girl with a beautiful sesame coat. She was surrendered to the Humane Society because she was snapping at the small children in her home. Thankfully, they called COSIR to come get her, as they felt she would not be adoptable. She is house trained. She is not crate trained, but a very well behaved girl, so it’s shouldn’t be necessary in her new home. She does display some minor resource guarding behavior with food and toys, so she needs to be fed separate from other dogs and supervised with toys. She loves meeting new people and going on walks. She loves belly rubs and playing with squeaky toys, but her favorite thing to do rolling in the grass and lounging under a shade tree in her yard. She’s gotten a clean bill or health from our vet, but is a little on the chunky side, weighing in at 25 lbs. We are sure she will slim down now that she will get daily walks and playtime with her new foster brother. Daisy has been placed in a foster home carefully selected from our waiting list, in hopes that they will end up adopting her. Should it end up not being a good fit, Daisy will be available for adoption and we will consider other applications. Stay tuned!
