Keyo has serious heart defect, will see CSU cardiology

Our little honey dog, Keyo, enjoyed some cuddles while awaiting discharge this morning–he is feeling a little better thanks to all you generous Shiba lovers who have sent your prayers and an amazing $1100, enough to cover most of his bills so far! We cannot thank you enough!!! Unfortunately, Keyo has a serious heart defect which allows blood to flow improperly between the chambers and likely is… throwing blood clots out, some of which may have gone to his brain and caused his seizures. While it is VERY serious, we are not giving up hope for this super sweet boy who is only 2 years old. We have an appt next week with the cardiology team at CSU–they are one of the leading vet hospitals in the country and have helped us with canine cardiac issues before. We are going to do everything we possibly can for him and with your continued prayers and donations, he will get the best shot possible.
