UPDATE: ON ADOPTION TRIAL –
2 yr old female Shiba Inu, NO DOGS, NO SMALL CHILDREN, NO APTS/CONDOS:
Kona’s mom was working 16 hours a day and didn’t have time for her. She’s had a tremendous amount of change in her short life, between moving and a revolving door of roommates, other dogs, and children in her home. She’s had no regular exercise, no training, and not enough attention from her human. All of this has stressed out sweet little Kona. She needs a calm and stable home.
Kona has tolerated living with other dogs and kids before, but it’s stressful enough to bring out the resource guarder in her. She has a much greater chance of success in a home with no dogs, or kids under 13. She enjoys socializing and plays well with other dogs. She might be able to live with another dog someday, but for now, she needs the undivided attention of her human, and time to realize her home is now stable.
Kona has always had a yard and really enjoys her outdoor time. She is a high energy dog who needs a fair amount of stimulation. She would do best with a yard to patrol and do zoomies in, in addition to daily walks for sniffs.
She has just been spayed and is ready for adoption. Kona’s adoption fee is $350 and includes her spay, vaccinations, heartworm test, microchip, and a group training class, or a private session with a COSIR approved trainer.
