Lola
12 yr old female Shiba Inu
This beautiful old girl was found stray near HWY 50 in Pueblo on August 1st. Her chip is not registered, and her owner has not come forward. Her finder took her home and decided to call her Lola. When we saw his post on Facebook, we reached out to offer our help. We went down to Pueblo to meet her and saw that she has made herself right at home, and is already responding to the name Lola. They are more than happy to foster her for us.
She is fine with the young dog in the home, but really wants nothing to do with him. She wants to play with the senior cat, who doesn’t want anything to do with her! She appears to have some pain in her knees and hips, and is missing several teeth, but still has a sweet and playful disposition. She is very well behaved and already bonding with her foster family. She has been seen by the vet, and we are letting her get settled in while we get to know her better. The foster plans to adopt her after a trial period, so we are not taking applications for her at this time.
