Marisol **OWNER KEEPING**

12 yr old female Shiba, no dogs:

Foster/adopter needed ASAP – Marisol needs to be re-homed because of aggression towards another dog in her home. The other dog has recently gone blind. His blank stares could be perceived as aggressive. He also bumps into her a lot, and we believe she may be a bit “cranky” due to some arthritis pain. Like so many Shibas, she is hit or miss meeting dogs outside of her home and will protect her person from unruly dogs! She is house trained, and was crate trained when younger, but has not used it in years. She is good with kids and cats. She’s a sweet, loving dog who deserves a good home!

We need to find an appropriate foster or, foster-to-adopt, home in order to bring Marisol into rescue. Her family is keeping her separated from the blind dog for now, but the sooner we can get her into rescue, the better. If you are currently a “no dog” home and are interested in fostering or adopting Marisol, please let us know ASAP!
