Momo
15 yr old female Shiba, $50 adoption fee
(The adoption fee has been sponsored by Tomoko in honor of her past Shiba, Hoku)
Momo was found stray and taken to a shelter. We estimate her age at about 15, but don’t let that number fool you, she’s full of life! Momo absolutely loves people and is always excited to see you. She is good with other dogs, but needs to be the dog in charge. Momo has not been tested with cats, but when she encountered one her walk recently, she sniffed and moved on. She has not been tested with, or met, any children yet.
Momo still has a lot of spunk left in her, but would do best in a low-key, low-activity home with a predictable schedule. She enjoys a short walk, but nothing too long or far. She would do best in a home without stairs, or a human willing to carry her down. (She still likes to go up!) She’s happy to stay home and nap on the couch, get belly rubs, and loves being brushed! She is house trained and well behaved. She’d prefer not to be crated, but will need to be fed separately from other dogs in the home, as she has a tendency to guard her food.
Sleeping off the shelter stress Hmm, feels like we’re going to the vet… Whoosy after the dental
Momo’s adoption fee includes her spay, vaccinations, heartworm test, dental, and microchip. The adoption fee of $50 has been sponsored by one of our supporters in Hawaii, Tomoko in honor of her past Shiba, Hoku.
