Ringo

8 yr old male Shiba – NO DOGS – NO KIDS – NO APTS/CONDOS:

Ringo was found stray and taken to a shelter. He is estimated at 8 yrs old, but this boy has lots of energy! His past has made him a fearful boy, but in a home that understands fearful dogs, he will bond quickly. Once he trusts you, he wants to be the center of your attention!

While Ringo can pass other dogs when out on walks with no problem, he is not looking to socialize with them, and is not willing to share your attention or his home with them. Ringo needs a home with NO DOGS. He has not been tested with cats.

Due to his fearful nature, a home with kids would be overwhelming for him. Ringo needs a home with NO KIDS.

Ringo does not do well in small or confined spaces. He is most comfortable and prefers to spend most of his time in his yard. If he could talk, he’d likely ask to live in a more rural area or suburban area, where he haw plenty of open spaces, or walking trails to explore with not much going on around him.

Ringo is a taller/larger Shiba than most. He weighs about 42 lbs, yet he could stand to gain a few more. He is more likely a poorly bred puppy mill Shiba vs. a mix. He is such a sweet silly boy who “talks” to his person when he wants you to know something.

Ringo’s adoption fee is $175 and includes his neuter, vaccinations, heartworm test, microchip, dental (if applicable), and an initial training class or private session with a COSIR approved trainer.
