Toshi
4 month old male Shiba Inu
Toshi was rescued from a puppy mill by our friends at Colorado Japanese Chin Rescue. They had him neutered but quickly realized that Shibas, although Japanese, are nothing like Chin and proved to be too much for their fosters. We happily took him in, knowing we could immediately place him in a Foster-to-Adopt home from our adoption waitlist.
His foster-to-adopt family already has 2 Shibas, so they are no strangers to the breed and the challenges they’d face raising a Shiba puppy. They are well versed in positive reinforcement training, and one of them works with dogs professionally. They are adamant about rescuing vs. buying their next Shiba, so they were willing to wait as long as it took for their next Shiba, and now they have Toshi!
He is doing very well there and loves having 2 older Shiba siblings to show him how to be a good boy! Folow us on social media and stay tuned for an adoption announcement!
