Yoshi
2 yr old male Shiba
**FOSTER TO ADOPT — NOT TAKING APPLICATIONS**
Yoshi was in need of a new home due to circumstances outside of his owner’s control. He is a sweet boy with lots of energy and friendly with everyone. He is house trained and knows basic commands. He was crate trained as a puppy, but has not used it in a long time. He can be confined using baby gates to keep him out of mischief when the humans are not home. He has some separation anxiety and prefers a home where people are home more than average. He does well greeting other dogs, but he is a Shiba, so prefers calm dogs that are not in his face. He also seems to prefer larger dogs. He likes kids, but is a bit mouthy when he plays, and requires supervision. He walks well on leash and needs at least 45-60 minutes of walks every day to keep him properly exercised and stimulated. He’s just turned 2, so he is fully mature technically, but is still testing boundaries and the patience of his humans. He needs someone to be a strong leader for him to keep him from running the household and getting into trouble 😉 Yoshi has been placed in a wonderful home carefully selected from our waitlist. He is doing well and we will likely finalize his adoption in the coming weeks.
